Father's Day (June 15)

Father's Day this year was fairly low-key. It was an absolutely beautiful day, but we didn't really do too much. We didn't even have a grill to fire up for some steaks, so we ended up eating leftovers after getting home from church, then the boys took great naps which allowed Mark and I some downtime.

Aren't these boys just too sweet? My favorite 3 guys in the world :)

After naps, we had a spaghetti supper (Mark's favorite) followed by {a bath for Kendrick, then} a fun trip to Island Park to enjoy the incredible day. When I asked Mark what he wanted to do for Father's Day, he told me he just wanted to spend the day with his family, and I thought that was so sweet :) That is pretty much exactly what he got: A day with his kiddos :)

Of course, it ended rather abruptly when this happened, after a slew of bad storms had recently swept through the area.

We just gave in and let him play for a while, but he was completely drenched by the time he was done, so he went home in his diaper covered in a jacket haha

Such is life with busy little boys! :)
