Well hello, everyone! It seems like the past 2 months have just FLOWN right on by! There has been a lot going on since January, but really not anything too much at all, if that makes any sense. It seems like I'm always busy doing something, but it's never really anything incredibly important. Between my weekends with Mark in town and my weekends up in Windom or Worthington, I've just been busy trying to make it to work during the week, to the gym during weeknights, and spending time with friends here and there.
Work has been going well. I am currently working on our internal FTP site, which is a huge undertaking, but it's coming along well.
Mark and I went to a Jeremy Camp concert a few weeks back - March 2nd. It was a wonderful concert! He is just such a wonderful song artist!
This past weekend we were down in Omaha for my younger brother, Josh's birthday. We had a great time catching up, and Mark had a great time playing football against my sister's boyfriend on the PS2. Mark ended up victorious. I can say that I love him no matter what, but I can't say that he's always a great sport as far as this type of thing is concerned lol He's super competitive, so when he loses, he gets super crabby. However, when he wins, he lets us all know about it :) We ate at Edelweiss, which is a German restaurant close by Josh's place. I can't say I'd go for the Tour of Germany again, but Schnitzels sure were good! All-in-all, such a fun time! We came back early to try to beat the storm down there, and that worked out well.
I've gotten the question quite a bit lately "What will you do when you're married? Will you quit your job? Will you commute?" So here's the plan of attack: Basically, I like my job, and Mark likes his. So neither of us are too keen on moving, and so we'll just live 90 miles apart and see each other on the weekends.
...
No, I'm just kidding :) I'll be moving up there into his house with him, and then I'll commute. Hopefully Raven will allow me to work from home a few days a week, but if not, I will for sure finish out the year there and then if they won't work with me on it, I'll start looking for something else. Perhaps start up my own business, or else find something where I can work from home as a satellite programmer/webmaster type of deal.
On another note, only 6 months left until the wedding!
