I have been documenting our journey through marriage, parenthood, life and now the aftermath of this horrific disease for over a decade. I am learning what it's like to be a now-single Mom of 4 and raise these crazy little ones (all between the ages of 2 and 8) in these crazy days, and are so thankful for the grace God has given us to make it through each and every one! We are born again Christians who strive to raise our kids to love God and love others.
In my spare time {ha - what's that anymore?}, I love to explore outside, catch up with family and friends, experiment in the kitchen, catch up on digital scrapbooking, travel and explore new places, listen to a wide variety of music, and well...blog!
I have had some incredible opportunities over the past year to advocate not only for FTD awareness, but also for caregiver support, appearing on a 60 Minute segment on the disease (Frontotemporal Dementia), as well as presenting at the AFTD Conference in Los Angeles in May 2019 and the National Caregiver Conference in Chicago in November 2019.
