Easter in Humboldt
We had been planning on celebrating Easter with Mark's sister, Sarah, and her (now-fiance!) Johannes, but they accidentally booked their tickets for the week after Easter, so we decided to head on down to Humboldt for the weekend instead. It was a crazy fun time, and it was fun to see Caleb and Riley having such a fun time :)
Sarah and Johannes Visit
Mark's sister, Sarah, brought her boyfriend (now fiance!), Johannes home to meet the family. We had a fun time visiting with them, playing games, throwing some darts and playing pool at PJIIs.

With Sarah and Johannes in town, we decided to throw a couple parties - a Johnson Family "hazing" of sorts - to meet the extended family as well! We had Johnson Family Party #1 that Saturday - with Mark's Dad's side of the family, and Johnson Family Party #2 the next day, Sunday, with Mark's Mom's side of the family. Heather's Bridal Shower
My friend Heather's wedding was May 7, 2009, so I attended a bridal shower for her at Mel and Kris's house (her soon-to-be Sister/Brother-in-law). 
Humboldt for Caleb's 1st Birthday Party
After the bridal shower, I drove to Humboldt for the rest of the weekend to celebrate my nephew, Caleb's first birthday with him and the family. Boy did that little guy ever grow fast!
Heather's Bachelorette Party
Of course, after the bridal shower comes the bachelorette party! Nancy and I drove to Sioux Falls to celebrate the big event, and after a little light shopping, we met up with the ladies at Granite City for supper. After supper, we met back at Heather's Mom's house to adorn her in her bachelorette gear, then hop in a Hummer Limo (thanks, Brooke!) for the night. 
Grandma Vi's Birthday Celebration
Dean and Barb threw a little party to celebrate her 85th birthday! Dave, Chris, Grace, Dan, Kathi, Cole, Caleb, his girlfriend, Mark and I gathered to celebrate the big day! Happy 85th Birthday, Grandma Vi!
