A Day in Mankato and Cole's Graduation Party (June 5)
We enjoyed a short, but fun afternoon in Mankato after church on Sunday morning to celebrate with Mark's cousin Cole at his High School graduation open house at his home. With three little kiddos in tow, we knew it probably would be a short visit (we did last about half an hour!!), but we had a few other little odds and ends to do in town, so we had a short visit with family along with a tiny bit of shopping (Old Navy)...

...and a little eating out (Grizzly's).

We made a short stop at Sibley Park after the big party to let the boys run off some energy (and MAN, was it a scorcher of a day for that - whoa!) before heading home around nap time.

It was a really great day overall, and we enjoyed catching up what little we could. As a parent of 3 little kiddos, I think it'll be really fun the day when we can finally not have to chase everyone all the time and can actually visit again. Short, broken snippets of conversations is normally all we can handle, really, but I know these days will pass. But for now, we just don't have much time for fluff conversation, so my motto is: "Just the facts, ma'am, just the facts" ;)
