Thanksgiving in Worthington (Nov 24)

We made our way down to Worthington after a relaxing morning in Windom for lunch at the church at 1pm. The Johnson clan had so many in attendance that having the gathering at any home was out of the question, so we gathered all 30+ family members at the church and had our meal at Koinonia Hall, which fit us all perfectly :)

Anniversaries
While we were all gathered together, we celebrated with Del and Karen as well as Don and Carol as they both had big anniversaries in 2011: Del and Karen celebrated 40 years of marriage and Don and Carol 50 years!

Grab Bag Gifts
Since we weren't going to be able to all gather together for Christmas this year, Grandma decided to do grab bag gifts at Thanksgiving instead of Christmas Eve as usual. It was a hoot seeing what everyone got, and seeing who ended up with the coveted caramel rolls.

Game Time
A few of us got together and played a round of Last Word while the rest of the guys played a little football outside. Once they made their way inside, we had a fun, heated round of Loaded Questions, which has become a Johnson tradition.

A Big Thank You!
A big thanks to everyone for all the hard work putting this gathering together! A special thanks to Dean and Barb, who coordinated all the food and such for the day. It was a slam dunk!
